107.          $200

Birge & Fuller column & cornice shelf clock, 1844-1848.  A 32-inch case in mahogany with a clear finish; the columns are veneered in flame mahogany.  Both glasses are old and likely original to the clock; the tablet is in remarkably good condition with just a few scattered losses.  The wooden dial is in age-appropriate condition, the hands are likely original.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike strap-brass movement only runs for a few minutes and will need adjustment.  It strikes on the wire gong, driven by two 8-day iron weights and regulated by an embossed brass pendulum bob.  There is no label.  AAC sold one last January for $605.  $200-$400.
