Waterbury Clock Co. “Wide Awake” iron-front, ca. 1867. A 16-inch case with a brightly decorated front, including polychrome flowers, gilding, and a painted pastoral scene.  Old glasses, glossy paper dial and old hands.  The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is signed and running and striking on a wire gong; a decent label listing a Cortlandt address in NYC as the sales room.  A pretty little clock in better than average condition.  $100-$200.
