93.            $75

New Haven Clock Co. iron-front, ca. 1860’s.  A 20.5-inch unknown iron-front model decorated with gilding, painted flowers and MOP; the decorations are reasonably bright and I see no missing MOP.  Importantly, the right leg was broken off and has been repaired; fortunately, the screws are not especially noticeable. Two old glasses and an old paper dial with replacement hands.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a wire gong.  There is a good label inside.  Iron-fronts from New Haven are not common, and none are shown in Ly’s book on New Haven clocks.  $75-$150.
