Terry & Andrews iron case, 1842-1850.  A 14-inch iron case decorated with MOP, painted flowers, and gilding.  Little to no loss of the MOP and good color on the flowers and gilding. Both bezels look original, the glasses replaced; the painted dial has been nicely touched up around the mainstem and the hands are appropriate.  The 8-day Terry & Andrews lyre movement is running and striking on a brass bell; there is a dark green and barely readable label inside.  This model is not uncommon, but this is a nice example.  $125-$250.
