83. $100
Ansonia Clock Co. “Parisian”, ca. 1880. A 23.5-inch
walnut case with an old finish, an old door glass, and proper finials. The dial is paper with the Ansonia logo, very yellowed,
and appropriate hands. The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is signed and running, striking on a cathedral gong; it
is regulated by an adjustable dial pendulum. There is an Ansonia beat scale on the original textured wallpaper. A good
label on the back, and a good example in all respects. $100-$200.
