69.            $200

E. Ingraham Co. “Arch Column No. 1”, ca. 1865.  This is an early shelf clock with a classic design, a popular but difficult model to find.  The case is 17 inches tall with rosewood veneer on the front and grain-painted sides.  Both glasses appear to be original, with a gilt eagle and American flag. The dial is paper, the hands proper.  The 8-day, time-and-strike movement is signed and running, striking the hours on a wire gong. There is a good label inside and an Ingraham key.  This one is in nice condition.  Horton’s sold a couple in 2018 for $190 and $405.  $200-$400.
