64.             $100

Wm. Gilbert Clock Co. “Mitra”, ca. 1891.  A popular clock from the turn of the twentieth century, available in ash, cherry, walnut, and oak.  This one is walnut with a clean finish, newer glasses top and bottom, and an old paper dial with considerable wear.  The minute hand is a nearly correct replacement. The 8-day, time and half-hour strike movement is signed; I can’t keep it running, and the strike is slow.  There is a partial label on the back, covered with plastic.   AAC sold two Mitra’s last winter for $130 each.  $100-$200.
