Mark Leavenworth & Son pillar & scroll, 1825-1829.  A beautiful 31-inch clock made in Waterbury CT.  A clean case with no breaks or missing veneer, two old glasses, the dial glass possibly original, the tablet repainted by virtuoso Tom Moberg.  The wooden dial is clean and colorful, the hands period and correct.  Three brass urn finials with wooden posts, tin dust covers.  The 30-hour time-and-strike wooden movement is running and striking.  A good label.  Includes two old weights, bob, crank, and door key for working latch.  Immaculately restored by Jeff Villet.  Horton’s sold a Mark Leavenworth & Son in 2017 for $600.  $400-$600.
