Southern Calendar Clock Co. “Fashion No. 4”, ca. 1885. A second example of this model with a good original finish and some patina, especially on top.  The finials are original, the door glass original with original lettering, the dials original paint with very little flaking and soiling.  The hands are original as well.  The signed 8-day, time-and-strike movement is running and striking on a brass bell, the calendar is advancing. Good labels inside; nothing not to like here.  $500-$750.
