2.            $750

Seth Thomas “Regulator No. 18”, 1896.  A 54-inch refinished oak case with period glasses, original painted dial, hands, and movement and pendulum.  The only thing not original is the weight, which is small but sufficient to drive the clock.  Note the original oak veneer on the dial bezel.  Remnants of a label on the inside bottom and date stamp on the back.  The 8-day time-only movement is not signed (not uncommon) and is running without issue.  You can swap out the weight for a proper ST weight with knurled end caps (see photo) for an additional $50; add a note to your bid sheet.  The lower door latch does not work.  Schmitt Horan sold an oak No. 18 last year for $1000; Schmidt’s Antiques sold one last fall for $850.  $750-$1000.
